Christina Morrison

Christina Morrison is a self-taught acrylic marine artist based in Victoria, BC, deeply inspired by boats and harbors. Her greatest passions lie in tugs, vintage wooden boats, and working vessels of the West Coast. She cherishes the stories and histories behind these boats, as well as the memories her art evokes when viewed by collectors and art lovers.

In her latest endeavor, “The West Coast Tug Boat Project,” Christina Morrison aims to capture all the working tugboats of British Columbia’s coast – over 550 in total. She believes that tugboats are essential to island communities, and she aspires for these paintings to become a part of our maritime heritage.

Christina Morrison has been invited to exhibit as a guest artist at the 42nd Annual Exhibition of the Canadian Society of Marine Artists opening to the public on Saturday 3rd of May, 2025
