Sherry Pringle
Sherry is a Napanee artist who works in watercolours, oils, acrylics, and mixed media. She has studied under such renowned artists as Zoltan Szabo, Jack Reid, Brian Ayteo, Gary Chapman and Jill Segal.
A sailor for twenty plus years, Sherry has always had a love of ships and water. Several years ago, Sherry developed a keen interest in WW11 warships after visiting the site of Canada's largest naval disaster. In June of 2005, one of her paintings of the well known "Athabaskan" was unveiled at Fort Montbarey, Brest, France commemorating this naval tragedy.
She has conducted numerous watercolour classes and workshops at nightschool through the auspices of Loyalist College, Napanee Secondary School, and the former Addington's Frame and Art Gallery
Sherry's works can be found across Canada, Australia and France, including a military museum in France.
