Tony Lassing, CSMA, SCA (1928-2011)

J. H. A. Lassing, P. Eng, OAA, MRAIC, Ret. was born in Amsterdam in 1928 and settled in the Quinte area of Ontario in 1954. He was elected as a signature member of the CSMA in 2006.

He was a self taught artist and has illustrated magazines and books. He has shown at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, the Jani Exhibition in Stratford, and was a founding member of Gallery 121 of Belleville, Ontario

Tony Lassing's retrospective show The Grand Tour was held at the Victory, September 21st 2008 and showed his many talents. More paintings by Tony Lassing may be viewed here.
