The War of 1812

This annual exhibition opened on Saturday the 5th of May 2012 at the Victory gallery, Naval Marine Achive:the Canadian Collection, 250 Main Street, Picton Ontario.

Works by signature members were exhibited. Those participating were Hamish Berchem, John M. Horton, Donald B. Macmillan, Marc Magee, Alan Nakano, Lloyd Pretty, Peter Rindlisbacher, Stefan Starenkyj, Ray Warren and guest artists Michael Cox and David V. Smith.

Many used the theme of the War of 1812 to portray new scenes in their artwork through the various mediums including watercolour, gouache, oil, acrylic and scrimshaw. Our visitors enjoyed this new and exciting marine art show.
