This annual exhibition opened with the vernissage on Friday, the 3rd of May 2019 from 4-7pm at the Victory gallery, Naval Marine Achive:the Canadian Collection, 250 Main Street, Picton Ontario. This new 36th Exhibition continued for four weeks through June.

Works by signature members and guest members were exhibited. Those participating were Yves Bérubé, John M. Horton, Jean Leroux, Wesley Lowe, Alan Nakano, Peter Rindlisbacher, Pim Sekeris, Stefan Starenkyj, Ray Warren, George Wilkinson and guest artist Dan Varnals.

It was with deep regeret that we noted the passing of two of our signature members, Dusan Kadlec and Hamish Berchem. We did include in the exhibition Mr Berchem's Rounding Cape Stiff, an 11 by 17 inch watercolour that had not previously beeen exhibited (see page five in the catalogue below).

Many used the theme of Traditions and the Sea to portray new scenes in their artwork through the various mediums including scrimshaw. Our visitors enjoyed this new and exciting marine art show.

The full-colour printed catalogue is available, including mailing within Canada, at $7.50; for US and international delivery, some additional postage may be necessary.
